SPEEDOMETER / TAXIMETER TESTERS

Machines for checking the accuracy of speedometers, taximeters, speed limiters, speed warning devices. As with most VLT equipment, these machines can be used stand-alone, or in an integrated test lane.

All VLT speedometer testers have a hydraulic axle lift and roller brakes to make driving on and off the rollers very easy. The rollers have a special Cr coating for durability.
Some models can be equipped with an electric motor so that the engine of the vehicle under test does not have to run during longer measurements and the speed is kept constant (e.g. for a taximeter test).
Optionally the speedometer testers can also perform speed limiter tests, speed warning device tests and taximeter tests.
